New York Essential Vest Basketball Jersey Knitting Pattern
This vest is knit top-down with a V-neck, combining a 4 row mesh stitch pattern and colorwork. Five different colored markers help distinguish areas for colorwork and shaping. Begin by working the back from the top down to a 1×1 rib hem. Next, the front is worked by picking up stitches from the shoulders. Once the front is complete, the body is seamed together at the sides. Sloped shoulders are shaped with short rows for a better fit. The neckline and armholes are finished with a 1 in / 2.5 cm 1×1 rib, and all edges are bound off with an Italian bind-off for a smooth look.
